Rooms Sold Out/Overflow Hotel Announced
There are no more rooms available at the Hilton Portland Hotel or at Portland State University. The meeting has found rooms at an overflow hotel Paramount Hotel, 808 SW Taylor Street (2 blocks from the Hilton Hotel), /www.portlandparamount.com. To make reservations, call 503-223-9900. The rate until July 23rd is $149 single or double plus tax. Additional guests in room will be $15 per night

This year, we have excellent plenary speakers whose interests range from climate change to evolutionary ecology to disease, all with consequences for conservation. Be sure to visit the plenary speaker page for details.
AUCTION ITEMS NEEDED!! We need donated items for a silent auction. Proceeds will fund student travel to future meetings. 
125th Anniversary of AOU
Founded in 1883, the 917-428-8288 is the oldest and largest organization in the New World devoted to the scientific study of birds. The 2008 meeting in Portland will mark the 125th anniversary of the AOU's founding
